Yves Klein, the monochrome. Neodadaist, Pop, Abstract... We could label his work with hundreds of words, without defining any of them. In the end, the artist invented the concept of Noveau Réalisme, which is one of the numerous avant-garde artistic trends of the 60s that sought in some way to unite life and art.
Klein's work is almost exclusively monochromatic, and in fact in the end he only used one color, International Klein Blue (IKB). He also did numerous artistic actions such as painting women's bodies blue (anthropometry), recording a long monotonous chord, exposing an empty room (there were 3,000 people queuing to see it) or stamping rain on a canvas while driving at 110 kilometers per hour.
