Model 209 chair designed by Thonet in 1900. Made of solid birch wood and composed of an open and curved backrest and armrests. Seat upholstered in hand-painted cotton fabric designed by Livio de Simone. It was used by renowned Swiss architect Le Corbusier in many of his projects, including the Weibenhof housing estate in Stuttgart in 1927.
